Where is our data stored and processed?

Your business data stays in your own systems. What the automation keeps is a working layer: the search index, the logs and the queues, hosted in the European Union by default. Model processing can be pinned to EU regions, and the choice of location is written into the agreement before anything is connected.

Three different places, three different rules

Your source data, the emails, invoices and customer records, never moves: the automation reads it where it lives. The working layer, the index and the logs, is stored in EU data centres. The model processing is a transient step where text is sent, answered and not retained.

On-premise when it is genuinely needed

For sectors with stricter rules, or when a client contract forbids external processing, the whole stack can run on your own servers with a locally hosted model. It costs more and the quality of the smaller local models is a real trade-off, so we only recommend it when a rule, not a preference, requires it.

What you should ask any supplier

Where the index lives, how long logs are kept, whether your content is used for training, and who inside the supplier can read it. If any of the four answers is vague, that is the answer.

Is anything stored outside the EU?

Not by default. If a specific capability is only available elsewhere, we say so before you decide, and in most cases there is an EU-hosted alternative.

Can we get everything exported?

Yes. Indexes, logs, prompts and configuration are exportable in standard formats, which also means you are not locked in.
